Five-time winners Brazil continue their bid for another World Cup triumph against Group G rivals Switzerland on Monday afternoon.
Tite’s side claimed a comfortable 2-0 win over Serbia in their opening fixture on Thursday, with Richarlison justifying his starting role with an emphatic brace.
Their win came at a cost, however, with both Neymar and Danilo suffering injuries that will rule them out until the knockout stages – if they get there, that is.

Five-time winners Brazil continue their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on Monday, but they will have to do so without the injured Neymar
Switzerland, meanwhile, saw off the challenge of Cameroon in their World Cup opener, with Breel Embolo claiming the only goal in a close 1-0 win.
Murat Yakin’s side came through their game against Cameroon unscathed, with Renato Steffen the only expected absentee.

Head-to-head record
During the nations’ nine meetings throughout their history, Switzerland have proved challenging opponents for the five-time World Cup winners.
While Brazil boast the superior record, with three wins, four draws and two losses, the Swiss seem to rise to the occasion when they face the South Americans and have never conceded more than two goals in a meeting with them.
The pair’s most recent encounter came at the 2018 World Cup, when Steven Zuber’s second-half equaliser helped Switzerland rescue a 1-1 draw after Philippe Coutinho’s opening goal.
